Following on from the workshops delivered in 2009 and the excellent feedback received Skills for Health - Workforce Projects Team is delighted to announce that we will be delivering a further two three-day data modelling courses in 2010.

The course is aimed at people involved in workforce planning who need to develop their knowledge and understanding of demand and supply modelling and activity analysis. WTD Case Studies

WTD Case Studies

Trusts across the country are developing new ways of working and introducing new ideas to help them achieve compliance with WTD 2009. This case study section brings together a range of examples from that might be of interest to you in your own planning work.

The approaches range from whole system reforms and new roles to information technology tools and new rotas. Many of these ideas will be transferable to other organisations or give you ideas on new approaches you might take. We are not saying that these examples are right for every trust to take forward but they have worked for these organisations listed here and their approach may be worth looking at as you build your plans.

On these pages you can access information on the case studies and look at any resources which they have developed.
